Power light continually solid.

  1.  If the power light is continually solid (even with pen off the tablet) the problem could be static build up.
  2.  Close all applications so that the only thing running is the Finder. 
  3.  Open your hard drive, open your system folder and then open your preferences folder.
  4.  Look for "TabletWorks Prefs" (if you are running an older driver it could be "CALCOMP Prefs" or "Drawing Slate
       Prefs") and drag the preference file to the trash.

Note:  When you throw away the preferences for your tablet, your mapping and button selections will be set to the factory default. If this is a problem you can save a copy of your preference file on the desktop or in a folder.
 
  5.  Empty the trash.  Click on the Special menu at the top of your screen, select "Shut Down".
  6.  When your machine is shut down, unplug the tablet and let it site for 5 - 10 seconds.
  7.  Plug the tablet in and restart.
  8.  The pointing device should no move your cursor on the screen.
